Bonaventure Cemetery
Bonaventure Cemetery is probably the most famous cemetery in Savannah. This cemetery was featured in the book and movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It is a great setting for taking photographs and in this case I used a digital infrared camera.
Coming Up The Savannah River
This series of photos of a Crescent Towing tug escorting a freighter up the Savannah River was taken from the Savannah River Bridge. Watching these tugs work is fascinating, always positioning themselves to assist the ship if an emergency occurs. Photographing into the sun for this series was more difficult than I anticipated, but does give an interesting perspective.
From the Savannah River Bridge – Up the River
The Port of Savannah is one of the busiest in the country. The view from the Savannah River Bridge looking up river to the modern port area is spectacular. I intend to work further on this study and photograph the City of Savannah from the bridge on my next visit.

Savannah, GA is one of the most intriguing and wonderful cities to photograph, and my personal favorite. So this site is dedicated Savannah and my humble efforts to photograph it.
